Its what ive always said about Jenson, he's very good when everything suits but he cant drive around problems.
That's not the right way to put it and it's not exactly what Mark meant. Jenson's driving style is very sensitive to poor cars. If the car is doing things poorly, Jenson's style is compromised because he has to start moving the wheel around and feeding the power less smoothly than he wants to. Since smoothness is where his natural speed comes from, he needs a stable and predictable car to show his talent. He does alright in ordinary cars, is as good as or better than anyone in good cars and struggles in poor cars (Until it rains).
what you just described is what racechick was saying, does good in a good car but a bad car not so good because his style is compromised.
Yeh if we put Jenson in the MP4-24 he would be doing worse than Lewis i'd say
I disagree, because the MP4-24 is not a bad car. Jenson only struggles in bad cars, the MP4-24 is mediocre, it is not bad.
They would be fairly evenly matched.
