For sure, on a qualifying style do-or-die one-lap, Jarno has a lot of speed. But on a racing lap, Kimi is streets ahead, and Alonso close behind him.

I agree, although Raikkonen shades everyone on raw speed, he isn't rounded enough to be considered the best in the field. Alonso isn't far behind on one lap pace, and well he is the more developed driver.

I think the best driver over a single lap would be Jarno, i dont know where he finds the lap times from in Qualifying that he cant reproduce during a race. I use to hold Kimi in high regard but last year i just couldn't believe how bad things went for him. I'm an Alonso fan so obviously so obviously he gets my vote as best overall driver in the field at the min but Vettel sure as hell could give Alonso a run for his money.
