I don't think Renault are thinking about Senna. There's been far too much hype about Senna for my liking lately. Last year's GP2 was an odd year with the transitions to the new cars probably a factor in causing a strange year. I mean, Senna in second place only scored 64 points. Compare that to 2006 when Lewis scored 114 and Piquet 102.

Grosjean is a renault backed driver, he only finished 2 points behind Senna, he's french, he sits on the pit wall every race. He cycles around all the tracks we see him at for longer than the F1 drivers. He already knows everyone within the team, and Renault know him. So it makes no sense why Renault would choose Senna, a rather unknown factor over Grosjean.

I hope Senna doesnt go to Renault. Not while Flavio and Alonso are there anyway.

To be fair i don't dislike Alonso, and Flav isnt that bad just a gobby mug.

but i wouldn't want to see him there because he would be a solid number 2.

I dont think so, Alonso at Renault has never had a team mate who was close to him. Jarno got out matched badly, Fisi was even slower & Piquet is just not in the same league as Alonso.

So if Senna is fast he will be close to Alonso's pace so there will be no need for a number one, number two driver status within the team.

Except Jarno got more points and won more races while they were together in 2004... hardly 'out matched badly' i think.

No sorry there's a diffrence between Equal and then Number 2 driver.

Alonso has a large advantage over Nelson Piquet but Piquet is still s***.

I think we can all admit Piquet had a strong weekend, and I think what Piquet Snr said makes sense. If Renault are fuelling piquet heavily constantly and then just chucking him into quali how is he suppose to compete. He needs practice in a low fuel car of course, that's just idiotic.

Poor Excuses His Dads a C*nt too.

Alonso was dehydrated and he still outdid piquet.

He needs to get out of F1.

To be fair, Alonso did not out-do Piquet whilst dehydrated. Nelson made up five places on Sunday whilst Fernando dropped one. Considering the fact that only two cars slower than Piquet (if you consider the F1.09 to be slower than the R29) started the race ahead of him, he didn't exactly do a bad job. It was a solid performance by all means.

Ya sorry your dead right for not being out matched badly specially in 2004. , my bad. But more points? No.

Jarno left with two races to go for Toyota on 46pts compared to Alonso's 50pts at the time. The season finnished 58pts for Alonso to Jarno's 46pts.

I didn't say there was no difference between equal & no1/no2 status in a team?
