Well I was lucky enough that the villa I was staying in did indeed have Speed TV (their cable was through Comcast), so I sat up and watched the GP. I don't remember the last time there was quite so much rain at the start of a season as with the last two races! 
Got back just in time to watch the race at the weekend there too, so the holiday worked out well!
