Haha.. When I'm out chatting with girls I always put on a posh but Aussie mix of an accent, they love it. Especially up north from Coventry onwards, you're a bit different and always stir up some interest at the bar :D

The press came after him because he upset the powers that be with some of his films. I wont talk details because one never discusses politics or religion in a open forum...

Totally off topic...... But after meeting and hanging out with Mel Gibson on Lethal weapon 3, I have one thing to say, He is the nicest celebrity I've ever worked with and the press has painted him into a person that is a complete 180 from the person I met.

Not just the press. Remember when he got arrested drunk and he swore and said some pretty nasty things about Jews? That's not just the press, that's himself damaging his image...

Don't start with politics, because he made a film where Palestine saved the world, "Signs"... Upset the powers that be...

You could Aliken Mel Gibson to Ron Dennis and the Jewish Media moguls are the FIA ;p

I said could have easily won 10 titles. I guess I was highlighting the point that in the years he didn't win the title, he took it right down to the wire.

Not to compare, but so did Your much hated Hammie

It was his consistency which made him god-like behind the wheel of an F1 car and seperated him from the rest.

Ditto again for Hamilton. But he has another 12 years to go to be comparable to Schumacher

If you can understand, without getting defensive over LH, I loved Schumi's driving because of all the enjoyment he brought me on a Sunday afternoon. Schumacher, even though he was arrogant and defensive, didn't behave like a complete tw@t as we are now seeing from Hamilton...

Ditto again on the first part, Who wasn't on their feet during the Brazil race or at Spa last year? (Thanks Hammie)
When Schumacher was punting my favorite drivers off the track then saying it was never his fault or that they didn't deserve to even be on the track, I thought he was the Biggest Horses Bottom ever.
Point being even the great ones have their faults. (Including getting caught cheating or lying to the stewards)
They're only human, God like at times, but still only human.

Ferrari never hid their team orders or lied about race day occurences, they simply built Schumi a beautiful car and showed the rest of the pitlane how it's done and enjoyed a period of success never before achieved in F1.

This is a team issue and you won't hear me stand up in support of the way Mclaren has been managed, but Hardly Lewis's fault, and I can't blame him for his Press Conference putting Mclaren's management down.( I also see this as a way to help Mclaren itself get off easy with the WMSC)

Hard not to like that pairing of man and machine...

Schumacher and Ferrari were in my opinion the best Driver/ Team pairing in F1 History and will be hard to beat by anyone.

Cheers.

Yes the Press did bring that to my attention...I can't say I know what was going through his head at the time, I only knew the Mel Gibson that I personally met, and he was a great guy.

AND still way OFF Topic
