Oh well. Now McLaren can go back to being a good and honourable team. :)

Which team will Lewis Poison next?

It could only be Force India, Toro Rosso or one of the new teams. I can't see him going anywhere else.

Why don't you just shut up. You're not funny! You're just sad!

Aye.

Hmm, i think this may have been a bit twisted to make the prospect seem even more real than it might necessarily be in reality (due to some of the grammar used in that article - although i could be reading into things waaaaay to much or just incorrectly :hehe: - i consider things with single quotation marks to not be a direct quote, unlike the usual speech marks), the fact that Haug acknowledged that the thought had most likely gone through his head shows that the potential move is there - something must be going on if any amount has been induced in either party.

If Hamilton has actually considered leaving McLaren then he has basically considered stabbing nigh on everyone who made him in the back. 'Inexcusable' and 'sickening' would be the first words to come to mind if this were the case.

Yeh good point mate i'm trying to find the full article.

i mean He don't actualy say "Yes, Lewis may quit McLaren." He says Lewis may be thinking about quitting
#105402
He's certainly thinking of quiting them.

he don't say if its Mclaren or F1 though

Absolute disgrace.

Roll your eyes all you want, McLaren deserves more loyalty than that.

Some McLaren fan you are.

No kidding, what a sore loser...

Who posted the article?

ffs.

I wouldn't blame him if he did quit, but I don't think he should.

He needs to show loyalty to the rest of the team who have helped him get where he is now. It's up to him at the end of the day really isn't it.

The only problem, if he did quit, would be where next? I can't see a team kicking a driver out to make way for him, so if he is to race anything he's looking at GP2 or F2 I'm afraid. Would be fun to see him in the BTCC lol. Getting his arse handed to him by Rob Collard

Matt Neal would have a rival in terms of unfair driving

I'm telling you Andretti Green! IRL is the home of British F1 Drivers with short careers (Or who just don't know when to quit).

DTM or IRL are the most likely places for him to go if he was to leave F1 entirely. There are restrictions on junior formulae (for example, I think that the rules for Formula BMW state that you can't compete if you have a racing licence above a certain grade) so I doubt he could go back down the ladder.

Yeah. Mike Conway skipped F1 altogether and went there straight from GP2 :hehe:

Justin Wilson has wasted his youth there too!

(Yes, I know it was Champ Car he originally went to)

Calm down children, Its like throwing some meat into a pool of pirana's and seeing who eats the most. Its just media speculation which sells papers. The lad ain't daft however low his self esteem is. Stop bickering, were only 2 races into the season. Until I see the lad behind the camera publicly announcing he's leaving McLaren will I believe. So get back to playing F1 on your playstations and posting crap in cyber-space that no-one in F1 is remotely interested in. Right back to the U.S masters

Nothing could match that lol. I know it's off topic, but when He barged Turkington out of the way, it was 'a subtle, veteran passing move', and when Shedden (I think) did the same to someone else, it 'wasn't very clever or too subtle' according to Tim Harvey. Double standards exist in Touring Cars too apparently lol.

I think Lewis should stay in F1, and you never know, if he finishes the year at McLaren, he could have repaired his relationship with the team, or if he still wants to leave, there's bound to be an opening somewhere. In the end, how much effort he, and the team puts in to their relationship will determine where he will be this year, and in '10.

There is a significant level of hypocrisy in your post.

I'd rather be "posting crap in cyber-space that no-one in F1 is remotely interested in" than posting crap in cyber-space that nobody anywhere is remotely interested in

And it's a DS I've been playing on thankyou very much :P

And before any of you ask, no I was not playing F1 on it as sadly that is not yet possible.
