Think your underestimating slightly Red Bull if vettle had no penalty he would of been a massive threat to Brawn.
Think Toyota and Red Bull are the two closest to Brawn.
If Red Bull get Renaults KERS they could be really good
I tells ya, Toyota are the closest team to Brawn. Not only that, Toyota appear to have the most reliable car in a season where reliability could be a big issue. BMW had an engine failure. That may not sound like much, but considering the BMW had 100% reliability last year is shows that general reliability for all the cars this year could be poor. Kimi's car has yet to do a full race distance without some problem. We've seen how big the reliability factor is from 2008. Massa lost the championship due to reliability whilst Lewis' car showed 110% reliability.
A grey cloud still hangs over the reliability of the Brawn GP car. Barichello had to change his gearbox this weekend for one. Really, Toyota have got a big opportunity this year seeing as they've got the entire package going for them. They're certainly the closest car to Brawn's. It's just a question of, can they keep the pace.
Red Bull are also challenging the front cars right now, and thats without a double decker diffuser or KERS. Adrian Newy, the legacy continues. That car has got some serious potential if Red Bull manage to install a successful double decker diffuser.
