Firstly I have aright to my opinion. secondly I have no doubt the he's a good mod. none whatsoever. If he takes offence at my gripe about how todays issue was handled then thats the way it is. None I can do about it. anything goes in my book but racism should stay out of it. And TEX : please .... telling people to take it up in PM's is just passing the buck. And thirdly ... I am past insulting guys for actually being nitwits. Please dont let them try and defend a issue that dont need defending.

Problem is when something offensive is posted. What if someone posted that

If there's then an argument, should it be the people arguing against blind prejudice that should shut up, or is it the people who posted the offensive material in the first place?

Guys and girls, we try our best here alright? In times of upheaval like this of course we will get all kinds of arguments on here and surely there will be instances where people go overboard. We try to deal with it without strangulating the Forum or rule with an iron fist (or Max's paddle ).
Besides, I find it a bit rich to read criticism about our mods here from exactly some of the worst pot stirrers that cause some of this If somebody doesn't like to watch how we try to keep some decorum on the Forum, maybe that somebody should step back, look in the mirror and maybe, just maybe be a bit more helpful in toning down the mood here rather than keep instigating more of this

Keep in mind, racist/sexist remarks are a no-no and so are insults against mods. Keep it clean! Don't use personal insults, don't try to bypass the swear filter and follow the Forum Guidelines or else

you right .... you never argue and it really being appreciated. but if you dont argue one will never get an idea of what type character you are and so forth. I believe the should be some tiffs and stuff. we all from diffirent backgrounds and opinions. SURELY there will be diffirences og opinions. It is unrealistic to expect otherwise. This forum is in good shape. The mods are doing ok... and while i think I could do a better job its not up for discussion but there always space for improvement. I dont mind the harsh words and arguements - its all good - I do prefer people should leave the racist issue alone. I stir the pot most of the time whether on purpose or not but got very mad at BUD today because of the racist remark aimed at AKR. we dont have to go there and I expected a mod to step and actually say something there and then. not suggest PM. that sucks!! I will say it here as well. I am sure TEX or DARWIN would have done that.

My intention was not to put the blame on the moderators, but on those who mess up things! I did mention that some people seem to have a leash too long for my tastes, but other than that...It's the bad user who has to change, NOT the moderator.

I reckon the guys who don't like the way the forum is moderated should perhaps find a new forum...

There is quite a relaxed attitude to abuse round here lol. Most of y'all would be banned within a week on the Seymour Duncan forums. I like it though, sport is about contest and the issues surrounding it should be contested.
