It has been announced that former drivers’ world champion Damon Hill will act as advisor on the stewards’ panel for this weekend’s Monaco Grand Prix.
Hill follows in the steps of Derek Warwick, Johnny Herbert, Alex Wurz and Alain Prost who have all served in the role this season.
As shown in today’s two practice sessions, the layout of the Monte Carlo circuit has also been tweaked for this year with higher kerbs being placed at the Nouvelle chicane and at the Swimming Pool complex.
The FIA also confirmed that a number of parts of the circuit had been resurfaced for this weekend, including the pitlane itself and the tarmac leading up to the entrance and exit of the tunnel.
