Head of Paul Ricard track steps down

Phillipe Gurdjian, the president and managing director of the Paul Ricard circuit, has announced he is stepping down from his current position. Gurdijan has been in charge of the track for nine years during which time the circuit has hosted a number of events including Formula One test sessions.

Gurdijan has said that he will now focus on other things, amongst which is his work with the organisers of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

“I will never forget what the Paul Ricard track he contributed to the region s sports, technologies and tourism development and whose ultimate objectives are to create a center of excellence and a model for other similar European endeavors,” Gurdjian explained.
“To the actual team and all future members I want to convey my hopes for a very successful future.”
