The sale of the Spyker team will not affect Adrian Sutil s contract to race for the team in the 2008 season according to his manager.
The young German driver has done well this season. However Vijay Mallya, now co-owner of the team, has declared his interest in two Indian racing drivers, Narain Karthikeyan and Karun Chandhok, leaving the future of Sutil in the balance. Sutil s manager, Manfred Zimmerman insists, “We have a valid contract for 2008.â€
It is likely that Sutil s team-mate Sakon Yamamoto will not get a racing seat next season. Yamamoto was brought into the team mid-season, mainly for his sponsorship money, after Christijan Albers sponsors did not pay up.
