Alex Wurz, returning to Formula 1 racing after 6 years as a test driver, is not expecting to win a race for his team, Williams, in 2007. “That is asking too much,” he stated. “But if everything goes to plan, we want to score points off our own back and on a good weekend aim for the podium.”
Wurz also said that he hoped he was going to turn the trend for his boss, Frank Williams, after a poor 2006 season where they finished 8th in the constructor’s championship. Williams have recruited key people from top teams McLaren and Renault in the hope of having a better 2007 season.
