Alex Wurz finished top of the times on Day 2 of the testing at Valencia. He completed 85 laps with a best time of 1:11.614, a whole 1.3 seconds ahead of day 1’s pace.
Nico Rosberg, who took over from Nakajima in the second car, came in second nearly three tenths of a second behind. New boy Fairuz Fauzy had his first run in a Formula 1 car and came in a credible fifth, just behing Albers and Sutil. Fauzy has now completed enough miles to gain his FIA superlicense meaning he will be able to compete in Friday practice sessions in 2007 and beyond.
