Rumours abound that Toyota’s plan for engine collboration with Williams could be branded under the Lexus name. Whilst Williams are to be powered by Toyota engines in the 2007 season, there is speculation that the chiefs favour promotion of the luxury brand instead. However it is understood that Formula 1 bosses John Howett and Tsutomu Tomita are not in favour of using the Lexus brand.
