This afternoon’s title showdown between Lewis Hamilton and Felipe Massa could be a wet one.
Although the current conditions in Sau Paulo are dry and overcast, satellite images reveal that there is a large stream of cloud heading towards the city from a north west direction.
Current projections suggest the clouds will hit Interlagos within the next few hours.
Pole-sitter Felipe Massa is unfazed by the possibility of rain though.
“I don t think we are in the position to say we prefer dry or wet,” he said.
“We prefer the perfect conditions to help us to win the race and maybe to help us with our competitors. We are not in a position to say we prefer this or that.”
“If it s coming for a good reason, that s it. If it s coming for a bad reason, that s racing.”
