Vettel on Pole In Turkey

Red Bull’s Sebastian Vettel took pole position for tomorrow’s Grand Prix. The young German had been fastest in all three segments of qualifying and will start ahead of Jenson Button and Rubens Barrichello in second and third.

The session proved to be packed with drama, with many drivers being caught out by the demanding layout of the Istanbul circuit. These included Nelson Piquet, who suffered from a break problem and fell of the circuit.

Lewis Hamilton’s season continues to go from bad to worse as the reigning World Champion was eliminated in Q1.
