Jos Verstappen is still likely to test for Spyker later in the year. A spokesperson for Spyker has recently been quoted as denying the possibility of a test however Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf has stated that the team have yet to come to a decision over testing.
“I have spoken on the telephone with this about Michiel Mol,” Verstappen explained. “He is a nice guy and the conversation went very well. Everyone must understand that Mold has a lot on his plate at the moment and organising a Formula 1 test for me is not the priority.
“But we have agreed to go back to the table soon for some more serious talks, and until then I can wait patiently.”
