Kimi Raikkonen will attend his last ‘Stars & Cars’ event as a McLaren driver. The annual event is being held at the Mercedes-Benz museum in Stuttgart and is the German carmaker’s traditional end of the year celebration. “I’m truly looking forward to this one, as it offers me the chance to say goodbye to my thousands of fans and the Mercedes-Benz employees face-to-face,” said Raikkonen. Last year, 30,000 people attended the event. This year, Pedro de la Rosa, Gary Paffett, Jean Alesi and Mika Hakkinen are all expected to attend.
The drivers will be taking part in some demonstration runs in a mix of modern and classic cars as well as the obligatory interview and autograph signing sessions. Fans will also be able to see the McLaren Formula 1 team racing against their DTM counterparts in a pit-stop competition.
