Michael Schumacher has returned to the Formula One paddock for the first time since ending his 16 year long driving career in Brazil last year. On returning to the pitlane, the seven times World Champion faced many questions on his precise role within Ferrari.

During a press conference yesterday, the German refuted rumours that he would test the Ferrari F2007, or that he could drive in another driving series.

“I am only so many months out of this business. And I am quite happy with that. What could be in the future, who knows? If I knew that, I would be doing it.”

Other rumours doing the rounds, suggested a potential purchase of an F1 team, or even taking charge at Ferrari.

“Neither! Absolutely not,” exclaimed the seemingly frustrated German. “I just don’t want to. I have other ambitions in life other than that one.”
