Takuma Sato has stated he believes that his team, Super Aguri, will finish regularly in the points. In 2006, the team’s best result was when Sato managed tenth place at the Interlagos circuit.
“At the beginning of the last season, we were 4 or 5 seconds off the pace at the back of the grid but we were slowly catching up,” Sato explained. “By the end of the year we were racing them so we need to keep that momentum going. We want to start from the level we had in Brazil and build on it as much as possible. The objective for me is to go racing aiming to score a point at every single race.”
