After a turbulent couple of weeks thanks to financial uncertainties and pre-season car trouble which saw them miss two test sessions, Super Aguri can breathe a sign of relief as their 2008 car, the SA08, has passed the compulsory FIA crash tests giving them the all clear to start the new season.
Takuma Sato has said that the team will be back in action at Jerez. “We will be using an interim car to start with and we probably won t have the fully updated car until the last Barcelona test,†he explained. “Then I hope we can bring along the whole new package to Melbourne for the first race.â€
