Valentino Rosso is set to be sponsored by Ferrari’s parent company in this season’s MotoGP races. However, the Italian denies the rumours that he may be switching to four wheels and join a Formula 1 team.
The magazine Motorcycle News has confirmed rumours that Yamaha have signed a deal said to be worth $50 million with Fiat. However Rossi himself has said he has recently decided not to quit motorbikes. He tested extensively for Ferrari last year but chose to sign a new contract to stay with Yamaha until at least 2008.
“My future is just rumours, and not linked with the sponsor,” Rossi commented.
