Rosberg looks to continue run of form in Shanghai

Nico Rosberg has said he will go all out to continue the run of form that has seen him put Mercedes GP on the podium.

The German finished third last time out in Malaysia and is eager to prove himself again in the Chinese Grand Prix next weekend, held on a Shanghai track which bears similarity to Sepang.

“Achieving my first podium with the team in Malaysia at the last race was fantastic, and I’m looking forward to continuing our consistent run of good results in China next weekend,” Rosberg said.

“Shanghai is a good track which is an enjoyable challenge for the drivers. The two long straights provide some decent overtaking opportunities and there’s a great mix of corners, particularly the high-speed sections. The weather will be colder in Shanghai than at the previous three races, and can be quite unpredictable, so it should be an interesting weekend.”

Rosberg will again be looking to outshine his illustrious team-mate Michael Schumacher, whose comeback to the sport has yet to convince critics. Rosberg remains one of the only drivers on the grid to have outqualified his team-mate 3-0 so far in the season.
