It’s three races in to the 2007 season and BMW are preparing for the next race in Spain in mid-May. After a solid start to the season, with Heidfeld clocking up 15 points and Kubica 3 points, BMW are looking forward to another solid performance.
Technical director Willy Rampf is happy with his team’s performance so far this season. “Obviously we are trying to make the car even faster,” he said. “The next test in Barcelona is scheduled to prepare for the race on that track. We will have several new components on the car in order to take off a few extra seconds per lap.
“Taking everything into consideration, I believe we can be satisfied with what we have at our disposal now.”
