Rumours are circulating that Kimi Raikkonen may leave Ferrari at the end of the season. According to Auto Bild Motorsport, the Ferrari team have already started to look for a successor to the Finn.
Kimi Raikkonen has not lived up to the hype which surrounded his move to Ferrari. Raikkonen, believed to be the highest earner in Formula One at the moment, has struggled to find form and is regularly beaten on pace by his team mate Felipe Massa. Ferrari bosses are also apparently concerned about Raikkonen’s lack of fucos and rookie errors – such as slow starts off the line.
Some in the F1 paddock believe Michael Schumacher might be making a comeback; others believe that Fernando Alonso may be looking to leave McLaren whilst others think that up-and-coming star Nico Rosberg may be offered a seat.
With Toyota possibly on the market for a new driver, they are believed to be eyeing up Raikkonen amongst others.
