Kimi Raikkonen s contract with Ferrari ends at the end of next season and many believe that the Finnish driver will not continue on in F1. Raikkonen has already expressed an interest in rallying, perhaps inspired by his older brother, and spurred on by the fact Malcolm Wilson has informally offered the current F1 World Champion to test one of the Ford Focus WRC cars.
“I d offer him a test,†Wilson told Eurosport. “It would be a great opportunity for us.â€
Ferrari s parent company, Fiat, are looking to move their Abarth team from the Intercontinental Rally Challenge to World Rally in 2010, and this move could pave the way for a new career for Raikkonen.
