Adrian Newey and Nigel Mansell have both been recognised in the 2012 New Year’s Honours list.
Newey, who is currently working as Red Bull Racing’s chief technical officer, has been made an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in recognition of his services to motorsport.
Mansell, who already has an OBE, was named a commande of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) for his services to children and young people. Mansell has been the president for the UK Youth charity for over a decade.
