More testing to come?

Although last week’s tests in Bahrain and Spain were the final multi-team official tests before the season opener in Melbourne, the cars may still be seen on track in the next fortnight. Several teams are planning to make some last-minute solo outings to shakedown a new chassis, or to make some last-minute adjustments to their setups.

Red Bull is planning to spend two days at Magny-Cours to test out their new aerodynamic pacakage, and Toyota will be testing at Jerez in Spain in the hope of catching up to the pace of the front runners.

Ferrari tester Luca Badoer is expected to shakedown the F2007 cars which are expected to race at Albert Park at the Fiorano track in Italy, and Toro Rosso will make an appearance at Mugello to shakedown their second STR2 car.

Markus Winkelhock, test driver for Spyker, is expected to make an appearance at Silverstone to shakedown the third F8-VII for the team.
