Ex-F1 driver Juan Pablo Montoya has said he will not be moving back to Formula 1. Montoya left McLaren in the middle of the 2006 season to move across to the NASCAR world in the US.
Talking to Colombian newspaper El Tiempo, Montoya said he didn’t miss the F1 world and he had no regrets over his move to NASCAR. “I’m ten time happier in NASCAR that I ever was in Formula 1,” he explained. “A while ago, I met Red Bull boss Dietrich Mateschitz and he asked me if I wanted to join his team. I told him he is completely crazy and I will not return to F1 under any condition.”
