McLaren will continue to ‘co-operate fully’

Following the news that the FIA have found new evidence in the espionage saga, McLaren have said they will continue to co-operate fully with the sport s governing body.

On Wednesday, the FIA announced that they had received new evidence relating to the Ferrari-McLaren spying saga. An appeal on the original decision was meant to be taking place on 13 September in Paris, however in light of the news, this appeal date was cancelled and the World Motor Sport Council will be reconvening on this day instead.

McLaren have released a statement saying, “”McLaren Racing has been made aware that new evidence has been presented to the FIA as part of their on-going investigation.

“As a result we have been informed that the Court of Appeal Hearing scheduled for the 13th September in Paris will now comprise a meeting of the WMSC.

“McLaren will continue to co-operate fully with the FIA”
