Ferrari driver Felipe Massa has denied claims that he will be defecting to Toyota for the 2008 season. “The story of me going to Toyota next year does not exist,†he explained.
Massa has stated that his current contract was signed in 2006 and is valid up until the end of the 2008 season. He has also claimed that he is already in talks with Ferrari bosses to extend his contract until 2009.
Many rumours have been flying about the driver line-ups for McLaren and Ferrari for the 2008 season many believe that after his public spat with Ron Dennis, Alonso is looking to leave McLaren, and it has been reported that Ferrari have offered him a 2008 drive. This in turn has led to speculation that Massa is being pushed out to make way for the Spanish champion and has led to speculation that he may be going to Toyota.
