Vijay Mallya has denied reports he is close to selling his F1 team, Force India. Earlier this week, the Asian Age claimed that “sources” had informed them that Indian business conglomerate Sahara India were on the verge of buying the Formula One team

Mallya has been quick to quash the rumours and has released a statement saying there is no question of him selling the team – and with the inaugural Indian Grand Prix happening later in the month, Mallya has pointed out that he has even more reason to stay with the team and improve their performance.
