Indian GP update

India’s motor racing chief Vicki Chandhok has narrowed down the decision of where to host India’s first Formula 1 Grand Prix in 2010 to four states – the circuit will be built in either Punjab, Haryana, Maharashtra or Karntaka. The city of Hyderbad which was linked with the new circuit has been ruled out.

Chandhok is on record as saying that the Formula 1 management will focus on one site by the end of the year, dependent on their financial backing.

Bernie Ecclestone revealed last week that he is far down the line in negotiations for the Indian Grand Prix in 2010. South Korea will probably also make it’s debut in 2010.
