Williams have confirmed that Formula Three Series frontrunner Nico Hulkenberg will be testing for them later this week in Jerez. It is expected that the youngster will be out on track on Tuesday and Wednesday. It will be his first time in a Formula One car.
Williams have recently given their 2007 test driver Kazuki Nakajima a race seat alongside Nico Rosberg and the team are looking out for a new test and reserve driver. It is believed that Hulkenberg s test this week will be an evaluation of his skills with the possibility of him becoming their test driver, however Williams have a number of options open to them and there are other drivers who may also get testing days earl next year.
