McLaren rookie Lewis Hamilton has put his Vodafone McLaren-Mercedes go-kart up for sale on auction site, eBay. All money raised from the sale of the kart will to the baby charity, Tommy’s.
“It’s brand new, with one only careful owner,” Hamilton explained. “This kart was customised for my by Vodafone McLaren Mercedes. It’s pretty fast – just how I like it! For anyone who aspires to be a Formula 1 driver one day, this is for you. Not only will you win this go-kart but you will get a chance to meet me at the launch of the Vodafone Mobile Internet on 21st June in London and I will give you a few tips on handling this beast.”
