Lewis Hamilton is vying for the seat partnering Alonso at McLaren in 2007 however he faces stiff competition from other drivers such as Pedro de la Rosa.
At the annual ‘Star & Cars’ party help by Mercedes, Hamilton said “I can tell you that I will do everything I can to race in Formula 1. I believe my future looks good. I’ve had a fantastic season in GP2 and I have already been testing for McLaren.”
