Ferrari’s new car will be launched on the 14th January at their Maranello base, however in a strange twist, the actual car may not actually be there. “We have a preview for the media, but we don’t know yet if the car will be ready”, a spokesperson explained.
On the 15th, the car will be ready for it’s first track outing. Felipe Massa will be taking the wheel and taking the car for a spin around the Fiorano test track.
Many have wondered how the car will be ready one day and not another – and why Ferrari don’t just delay the launch of the car for a day. Even if the car is ready on the 14th, no photographs are permitted – only official Scuderia photographs will be allowed.
