It has been reported in Spanish newspaper El Mundo Deportivo that McLaren has banned Ferrari team member from entering it s hospitality facilities. With the latter part of the season overshadowed by the espionage saga, McLaren are keen to put in as many safeguards as possible to ensure a similar situation cannot happen again and the banning of Ferrari team members from it s facilities is one of these measures.

It is reported that Ron Dennis sent a letter to Ferrari explaining the situation. He has also reportedly advised his team not to speak with any of the Ferrari team at the F1 tracks.

Ferrari boss Jean Todt is said to have replied to Dennis letter stating that despite the ban, McLaren team members are still welcome to enjoy Ferrari hospitality over race weekends.
