Domenicali not yet ready to give up on 2010

Ferrari boss Stefano Domenicali has issued a rallying call to his troops, as Ferrari attempts to rescue its faltering title bid.

Since Bahrain, the Maranello-based outfit has failed to keep in touch in both championships, and now sits 113 points behing McLaren in the constructors’ standings.

However, speaking at a meeting between the team’s senior management, the Italian refused to concede that Ferrari’s title ambitions were over and called on the rest of the team to remain motivated.

“Anyone who does not believe that we can win the World Championship would do better looking for another job,” said Domenicali on the team’s official website.

“No-one here is giving up. There are still nine races to go and anything can happen.

“We will have to do our job perfectly, that is to say the Ferrari way, and then the results will come.”
