Toyota have announced that they are extended their sponsorship deal with DENSO until 2008. DENSO have sponsored the Formula One team since 2004. They have also supplied auto technologies, systems and components since 2002.
Koichi Fukaya, the president of DENSO, said “I am pleased that DENSO will be able to continue to support the Toyota F1 team as a sponsor. DENSO will work together with Toyota to help the team achieve success in Formula One.”
Tsutomu Tomita, the Toyota Motorsport Chairman and Team Principal, said, “DENSO has been a technical partnet of our team since our first season of Formula One and we are porud that this strong relationship will continue. DENSO’s technology plays an important role at Panasonic Toyota Racing and brings direct benefits to our car.”
