David Coulthard has revised his 2007 season goals. He is now predicting that fifth place for his team, Red Bull, in the constructor’s championship is a realistic target. “At the moment we are not going to achieve the goals I had for the year,” Coulthard explained.
The RB3 car has yet to impress, having broken down several times in testing and failing to set any blistering lap times. Coulthard has said that this is down to not being able to find that elusive mix of ‘technical investment and facilities’ quite yet. “That’s what we need to continue to develop Red Bull, and then the results will come,” he said.
