Felipe Massa was fastest of all in the wet second free practice session for Sunday’s British Grand Prix at Silverstone.
The session was delayed by heavy rainfall and for nearly an hour no one ventured out. Towards the end, most drivers had made exploratory runs on the drying surface, of which Massa’s was the most rapid.
Nico Rosberg, Kamui Kobayashi and Lewis Hamilton took second, third and fourth slots respectively, with Kobayashi in the T-car after a big crash in FP1 this morning. Jenson Button was fifth quickest in the other McLaren.
