BMW-Sauber are set to follow McLaren and Honda and try out a new look wing at the Barcelona circuit this weekend.
BMW driver Robert Kubica explained, “We do have a new front wing that will be tested on Friday morning.” When asked about whether their new device would be as radical as either McLaren or Honda, team boss Mario Theissen cryptically said, “You will notice a difference.”
In the meantime, McLaren’s Fernando Alonso has said that they would be testing their new wing on Friday before making a final decision as to whether to run it in the race or not. “On track, honestly, I did not notice too much of a difference,” Alonso said. “So we will test it again, comparing it with the previous one and then decide it we use it.”
