Driver line-up and some updates available here.
Petrov, Webber, Massa, Maldondo, Ricciardo, Alguersuari, Glock, Rosberg, Hamilton, Perez, Sutil, Trulli.

Thought I'd start a thread. Sauber was first out and broke down after 9 laps. Red flag, but things are back underway.

The MP4-26 on track, with a swag on monitoring equipment ....

Nice one, straight from Greece... :hehe:

What's that on the rear end of McLaren? :D

The thing on the back of the MP4-26 is a sensor array to measure airflows from the rear of the car particulalry around the diffuser. Initially they will compare it to wind tunnel data. They had similar things on the side pods for the Pirelli testing after Abu Dahbi

I think i have said it before, but the Mclaren looks nice from behind...

I agree! I like the side and rear view...not the front. Team probably cared about the perspective of all the competitors who will be staring at its back this season, rather than the front!

Maybe thats how they plan on winning. Car in front looks at the Mclaren in the rearview mirror and go blind momentarily causing them to crash.

But anyway, interested in seeing how Heidfeld does at Jerez :)

I think that strategy might only work on the Redbull drivers since they're always high on caffeine and sugar. :D

But what if Merc/Ferrari are up there.

Just noticed that the trailing edge of the rear wing on both the Ferrari and Red Bull have a v notch in the center, whereas the McLaren doesn't.

according to autosport there is to be an informal race simulation of the rear wing overtaking. Excited about this if its to happen.
