I have to agree with something I read on another site that car names are pretty universally uninspiring. I mean, for such a passionate sport, cars are given names more befitting an invisible dot in the night sky or possibly a new disease.

So, I think Ferrari should dump F11 or F2011 - whichever they were going to use. I suggest for my team, we should name the 2011 car the "Reyna". It's appropriate because the car takes so long to get ready - so it has to be given a woman's name and Renya - from the Latin meaning Queen :-)

P.S. Both Lotus teams could race to be first to call their car the "Entendre"

Mclaren- bullet, for obvious reasons.

That was my first thought, I'll try to comeup with a more subtle/imaginative name when I'm more awake.

Edit: Im a bit more awake but not much.

Mclaren- Medusa (Dont mess with me!!!)

The Williams Whirlpool.....

.... Because I have an image of Maldonado spinning a lot.... :D

I'm only kidding of course!! I'll reserve judgement until he's had a few races with the team, he may well be very fast. :)

The HRT Heifer....

.... because it will be heavy and slow, and spending most of its afternoons constantly letting the 'Bulls' past after coming from behind.... :D

Porsche - if they return could call their first car the "Heinz 57" commemorating the number of variants of the 911 they will release that month

A one trick pony indeed! But at least it's a hell of a refined pony.

Ferrari on the other hand is a feast for the eyes, sort of like Mexican food... but when you dig in, it's all the same rehashed temperamental ingredients and the next day you're sorry you ate it.

Yeah, but Mexican food is cheap ingredients at a cheap price...where as Ferarri's use poor ingredients at a ridiculous price. All style...with no substance.
