There's a market for everything right? Next thing we will hear is that they sold on eBay for $40K :hehe: .

It was around $500 last time I checked :yikes:

I have wedding cake in my freezer from my own wedding 15 years ago.

:uselesswithoutpics:

I have not laid eyes on it since the wedding.

OK then I have seen the box it's sealed in, just not the cake itself.

If you've only seen the box it's sealed in... I hope your wife has been taking care of it. Although traditional cake can keep fro years, 15 is excessive to say the least. The cake itself last longer than the frosting, which is probably a crystallized mess right now. If regularly doused with rum or some preservative (if it's a traditional wedding cake) you can get 5 or 6 years. Otherwise you've got a non edible keepsake in your freezer currently. I guess you don't need the space! :D

No it hasn't been edible for many years. It's just there because we had it and we don't know what to do with it, and she's too sentimental to throw it out.
It's just the top round part of the cake, the highest tier, about 6" diameter and about 4" in height. The rest of the cake was eaten at the reception. I really don't know how we even ended up with this.
