Zanardi has been doing handbike racing for a couple of years now, he took it up as a bet and discovered quickly he could be competitive. He's done very well from memory in the few races he's already competed in.

I seem to remember him saying that the Paralympics were his goal quite some time ago. Good luck to him, he's a really nice guy, and a nice guy that can and deserves to win!
