Monaco Grand Prix Apartment

Postby sverresverre »

Hi everyone,

I live just on the boarder in Monaco, 3 minutes walk from the casino.

I am renting out my apartment for the Grand Prix.

The apartment is big, over 100 sq. meters (aprox 1000 sq.ft), either three or four bedrooms.

One bathroom, one toilet. Big kitchen.

Quality is normal, remember I am a student ;)

It can house from 2-3 up to 8 people comfortably.

There is no view, but very close to the circut, the casino, the port and all the clubs.

The rate is 3500 euros for the duration of the grand prix

All hotelrooms are booked and the actual going rate for a normal apratment is almost three times what I'm asking. The rate I'm asking is what I feel it's worth, not the market rate.

You lucky little bar steward. Why are not staying in your apartment for the race? Sounds like a fraud ;)

wow... fraud?

i am very much not a fraud, and I can tell the little story of what i'm doing here:

I am a norwegian student (just graduating) in the international university of monaco (http://www.monaco.edu) and i just had a birthday on saturday (happy birthday to me). I live with two friends in a normal apartment on the french side of the boarder of monaco. anyone who has been here knows that monaco and france is morphing into eachother, while the housing prices are monsterous on one side and normalish on the other.

I used to love f1, after three years here i am sick of it. it's too many idiots with red caps and big cameras walking aroud. I could stay in my friends apartment with a 70% race-view, but I really can't be bothered, would rather like to lay on a beach in Italy for a week and let someone stay in my house and get paid :)

My neighbour rented out her place, smaller than mine, for 9500€ last year. The agency which rented out my place last year charged (unbeknownst to me) 10.000€ and paid me only 2500.€.

This is the story. Monaco is a nice place, cept for the formula one. Then it's too crazy and drinks go from outragously expensive to out of this world expensive... so i elope:)

Like I said, 3500€ for 5 nights. Which is me being a good guy :) I could even throw in a little tour and some tips for the week/weekend :)

I see, well how much are these "out of this world expensive" drinks in Monaco during the F1? This could change my whole strategy.

It's 80 euros for a beer in jimmy'z.

if you go to one of the fancy parties, it has a cc of about 500 euros i think... a table cost up to 10.000 euros with champage and such

You'll get a goldplated hooker if you want one, as long as you pay for it.

No whipped cream though ;) It stains...

What's wrong with your dolls Forza? Have they been acting up lately and you want hookers now instead? :D

Nah, I can never forget this. It pained me to learn that he prefers rubber instead of the real deal. It was a veritable insult to the Forum Queen!
