It's been a while since FA achieved that feat in 2006. Maybe SV can pull it off next year and silence his critics??? Following MS's lead so to speak...

I find it very difficult. IMHO F1 owners don’t find it good for business, but who knows. We have to wait and see how the new cars performance is.

Seb is definitely capable as a driver to do it. But IMO he won't be in the running in '11 because I think RB will have a tough time next year. Lots of downside for their car/team. Ferrari and McLaren don't have the same disadvantages and seem to have some benefits. Mercedes might even leapfrog RB.

I don’t know exactly why but if I had to, I would bet for Rosberg next year.

Teams seem to put so much time, effort and resources into building and maintaining a championship winning car during the current season that it is detrimental to the development of the next years car, just look at Brawn, Honda scrapped their 2008 season to develop the 2009 car which became BrawnGP and that car wiped the floor with everyone in the first half of the 2009 season and the result, in 2010, they (now Mercedes) have been off the pace in the championship race!

At the same time will see a back-to-back WCC winning car!

For the same reasons I think Seb will not really be in contention next year, I think RB will be out of the picture for the Constructors as well. Of course everything could change after we see the new cars. But I do feel RB are facing the biggest challenges.

RB seems to be the exception to the rule though - they've been competitive back-to-back and many in the paddock believe they'll be strong again next year.

We'll find out soon enough, but from Adrian Newey's comment about the Renault engine not being strong enough, I think he's worried! Can he design such a strong package with the new rules and regulations for 2011? No double diffuser, no F-duct, and maybe even concerned about not having a decent KERS system, will they used a Renault system?!?!

I dunno, that Newey is darn good

Vettel is an obvious candidate (ie, he can win in 2011) i guess. Alonso and Hamilton also have good cars underneath them long-term. Difference is, Vettel's window is limited by how long Newey wants to stay at Red Bull.

IMO he's not good - he's the best. But, Ferrari, McLaren & Merc also have some very good designers as well.

The problem for Newey & RB is pretty much most of the changes look like they will hurt them, and none of the them seem to help them. It will be interesting to see what they do with the RB7.

I do certainly hope for a leveled playing field! Makes it less predictable! and we've had plenty of that
