Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin has enjoyed his first taste of Formula 1, getting behind the wheel of a luminous Renault machine and reaching speeds in the region of 240 kilometres per hour (150mph).

Known as a lover of sports cars, 58-year-old Putin – clad with a helmet colour scheme matching the colours of the Russian flag - made his unofficial F1 debut on a special track in Leningrad.

Although these shots may be nothing more than a public relations exercise, Putin reiterated his excitement over seeing the sport race in the country for the first time from 2014 onwards.

His CV:

Politics => He was second president and is now Prime minister...In Russia, nothing happens without his acquiescence.
Martial arts skills => Highly skilled. Sixth dan in Judo and master at Sambo.
Secret agent=> He was director of KGB.
Shooting skills=>He has already shot tigers with tranquilizer guns , which presumes that he is an excellent shooter.
Pilot skills=> He has already piloted a Mig-31(Russian air force jetfighter)


In other words: a real James Bond....the kind of guy you dont want to screw with.
